The Nature Center is home to an impressive collection of taxidermy mounts, showcasing animals from Africa, the Northern Rockies, and the Arctic. These museum-quality mounts are displayed in dramatic dioramas with fully painted backgrounds, providing a realistic depiction of the animals’ natural habitats. The center also houses displays on York County Wildlife, featuring 80 bird mounts and 20 mammal mounts, offering visitors a close look at the species that inhabit or visit York County throughout the year.
